Usina Caeté celebrates Women’s Day with a tribute to its female employees.

On the afternoon of Thursday, March 5th, Usina Caeté, in commemoration of International Women’s Day, paid tribute to its female employees in the auditorium of the Conceição Lyra School, in São Miguel dos Campos (AL).

Present were Isabel Brito, a neuroscience specialist and psychologist from SENAR; Eliane Jordão, an allergist and immunologist from Usina; Marta Luciana Sampaio, Human Resources Manager; Juliano Sampaio, Industrial Manager of the main plant; Paulo Couto, Director of Usina Caeté; Aryl Lyra, CEO; and other female employees from various sectors of the company.

“With this tribute, Caeté demonstrates the affection and concern it has for us. During the event, we were able to exchange experiences and give advice to the new generation,” highlighted Maria Quinor Melo, Human Resources analyst.

Nathalia Kirky, an employee at Usina Caeté, highlighted the recognition she has earned throughout her career. “I feel very grateful to be in a position I always dreamed of. I am thankful for the opportunities I have been offered since the beginning of my time here.”

According to psychologist Isabel Brito, the company has proven to be a great supporter of women’s development. “It’s always been said that sugar mills are a man’s thing, but today we see many women pioneering in various areas, especially at Caeté. It’s always important to highlight the power and importance of being a woman.”

Marta Luciana Sampaio, Human Resources Manager, highlighted the importance of women in the workplace. “We demonstrate strength, competence, and determination, contributing significantly to the development of activities in the field, in industry, and in administrative sectors. We are strength and we can evolve together.”

Usina Caeté is proud to have women on its staff who make a difference every day, strengthening our purpose of promoting an increasingly inclusive, respectful and opportunity-filled environment.
