Caeté Plant
Paulicéia Unit

The Unit maintains high energy efficiency standards and technological innovations.

With a view to expanding investments in the sugar and ethanol sector, in 2007 the Company set up an industrial unit in the municipality of Paulicéia, in the western region of São Paulo state. The location of the Caeté Plant – Paulicéia Unit offers ideal conditions for sugarcane cultivation, due to its topography, fertility, and available areas.

The Paulicéia Unit adopts planting techniques that allow partnerships with other crops, such as peanuts, resulting in cost reduction and soil improvement for sugarcane planting.

The Paulicéia Unit is a modern industry with high energy and milling efficiency.

It was the first industrial unit certified by the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP), allowing the issuance and commercialization of Decarbonization Credits (CBIOs) in the Renovabio Program.
